Meet Jessie

I am a pediatric critical care nurse turned stay at home mama of four (6 and under) and sleep consultant. I help moms pursue radical, abundant motherhood - but it’s kinda hard to live that out when you’re so tired you can’t see straight. Am I right? My heart is to help parents experience the little years differently. I want you to be fully present, to show up every day ready to cultivate their little hearts, and more than anything I want you to find so much joy in parenthood (and be rested enough to actually remember it)!

Being well-rested has been foundational to living abundantly during our kids’ little years. Because my husband and I are well rested, we’re able to wake up FOR our kids, not just TO our kids. Because our kids get the sleep they need, they wake up happy and ready for the day, too. My heart is to help YOU experience parenthood this way as well. There is so much rest, joy, and peace to be found!

I love being a mom more than anything in the whole world. When I’m not working with new parents and families, I’m spending time with my own precious babies and my husband. We live in the woods on some land where we’re DIYing our dream farmhouse. My favorite creative outlet is photography. If it weren’t for Target, I’d never leave my house (I’m an introvert all the way). You can typically find me playing on the floor with my kids or outside with a good book soaking up the sun.

Frequently Asked Questions

First, let me reassure you that I will never ask you to put your child to bed and ignore them for the remainder of the night. However, anytime you introduce something new to your child, there will be an adjustment period. No one enjoys change and our children often respond to unwanted change with some form of protesting. Crying is one way babies and children express their emotions. Helping your child learn the skills they need to get the sleep they need will involve some crying, however I fully believe that the benefit sleep brings to your child's health, development, and happiness far outway any crying that takes place. I am there every step of the way and I can help you know how to lovingly support your child through the changes you make to their sleep habits.

Of course! Whether you breastfeed or bottlefeed, you can help your child learn how to fall asleep and transition through sleep cycles unassisted.

Shortly after you sign up, I will send you a welcome email with everything you need to get started. It will include a questionnaire and instructions to access your online client portal where you will begin logging your child's days and nights. Once these steps are completed on your end, you can expect the first part of your child's plan within 5-7 business days. From there, we will work together to schedule the start date of your plan and the unlimited texting support.

We love working with twins! Because each baby is so uniquely different, our approach is to help you find what works for each baby while gradually helping them get on the same routine. (Please email me for a discounted rate)

At the Goodnight House we define sleep training as teaching a baby or child the skills they need to fall asleep and transition through sleep cycles unassisted. So yes, this is sleep training, however we do not use the exticntion method (Cry it Out).
